About this Project
To secure a position in the actuarial field, it is crucial for students to pass actuarial exams P and FM before graduation. These exams require extensive preparation and are notoriously challenging. Additionally, the cost of taking these exams can be a significant burden, especially for full-time college students. To address this, the Mathematics Department established a reimbursement program to encourage students to take the exams and ensure they are well-prepared for full-time employment upon graduation. Students are eligible for reimbursement only if they successfully pass the exam. The reimbursement program is entirely supported by donors, and we are fundraising to ensure it continues benefiting as many students as possible.
Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!
Your donation will encourage aspiring actuaries by alleviating the financial burden of the certification process. The cost of taking these exams, along with the study materials, can be substantial and add unnecessary pressure on students. Your financial support will enable them to focus on the academic challenges of the exams rather than the financial strain.
Gifts will be designated to the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The Department will direct support to this project.
