About this Project
Since the Blue Hen Food and Supply Pantry launched in 2023, over 400 Blue Hens have been served through more than 1,000 orders. Each Blue Hen student, regardless of their finances or current situation should have access to food, supplies and basic needs. According to the Hope Center, approximately 1 in 4 UD students has experienced food insecurity in the last 30 days. Food and basic needs are essential for students, and without these needs being met, it can severely impact their ability to be successful. By donating to this initiative, you are directly contributing to the success of our Blue Hens!
Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!
Your gift not only supports the purchase of food and supplies but will allow UD to expand our Blue Hen Food and Supply Pantry services. Additional support will be used to provide software to expedite orders and fund on-campus internships for students to gain hands-on experience managing the food and supply pantry.
