About this Project
The UD Pride Caucus for faculty and staff is experiencing a resurgence, and we need your help to kick off our new chapter! Nothing is more affirming than being in a community with people who celebrate your identity. Based on what we’ve heard from our members, the LGBTQIA+ community at UD is hungry for spaces to connect with other queer folks. There are queer faculty and staff all across the university, and our hope is to create spaces where we can bring those folks together to enhance inclusion and belonging on campus. You can help us create these spaces for UD employees by donating to our campaign!
Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!
Through your contribution, we will be able to hold coffee socials, ice cream meet-ups, happy hours, book clubs, movie clubs, peer support opportunities, advocacy events and more in order to provide affirming and supportive spaces for queer folks on campus! Social events like these have the potential to have a huge impact. Many LGBTQIA+ staff are spread across campus, and some people may not be out at work or have a queer community to turn to for support. We want to build that community for them. With the help of your donation, we can foster an environment of belonging, one coffee cup or ice cream cone at a time!
Gifts will be designated to the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Fund. The fund will direct support to this project.
