About this Project
The University of Delaware's winter session offers a unique opportunity for ROTC Cadets to spend their winter interning, studying abroad, taking additional/required classes, conducting research or a plethora of other activities that complement their ROTC curriculum and collegiate advancement. The Army ROTC Alumni Network identified this session as a critical time for cadets to partake in a variety of activities focused on making them well-rounded officers, and created the Army ROTC Cadet Winter Session Award to ensure cadets are not limited financially as they pursue these experiences. This Award will allow cadets to apply for funding to support a winter session activity associated with earning academic credits and/or increasing points on the ROTC OML. By fundraising $4,000, we are hoping to support four students in their winter session pursuits in January 2025.
Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!
Army ROTC Cadets at UD are not required to take winter session coursework. However, in most circumstances, cadets elect to take classes to either get ahead on credit requirements, study abroad or intern. Your financial support for this award will provide relief related to costs for their expenses, allowing cadets to get the most out of their winter session. Thank you for supporting ROTC Cadets!
Gifts may also provide general support for Army ROTC.
