About this Project
Morris Library is not just a place to study, it is also where students can find transformational learning opportunities that prepare them for life after graduation. Providing meaningful, hands-on real-world experiences for our Blue Hens that support their scholarly, creative and career pursuits is of core importance to the Library, Museums and Press.
From co-curating cultural heritage and history exhibitions and preparing rare materials to be discoverable for global research to assisting visitors with use of our rare materials or lending a helping hand during public events in one of our gallery spaces—students develop lifelong skills working alongside expert staff in the Library, Museums and Press.
Help us offer a deserving Blue Hen the opportunity to engage with world-class collections and specialized expertise through an assistantship in our Special Collections and Museums. Tailored to the student’s career goals, the assistantship will allow them to build key skills for success, including critical thinking, working on an interdisciplinary team and knowledge specific to careers in the library and museum sector.
Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!
Together, let’s equip students for lifelong success this Giving Tuesday with an individualized assistantship opportunity that will prepare them to excel in the real world.
Gifts will be designated to the general Special Collections General fund to support this project.
