About this Project
Devoted to improving the well-being of our state's children, youth and their families, KIDS COUNT in Delaware has been using highly credible research, data collection and education to inform change on behalf of children for 30 years. Quality data are the backbone for making impactful decisions. Our work provides the foundation for local agencies, nonprofits, schools, and advocacy groups, enabling each to develop tailored approaches that address the unique needs of the children they serve. From strengthening successful programs to creating new opportunities and targeting resources to reduce disparities, our data equip these organizations to take action and drive meaningful change.
