John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance
Introduce students to the field of corporate governance and its relationship to their academics.

About this Project

Corporate Governance refers to the way in which companies are governed and to what purpose. It is the rules, practices and processes that guide how a company is directed and controlled. It also refers to the relationships between a company and its stakeholders.

The mission of the Weinberg Center is to be a neutral forum for informed dialogue, teaching and learning about corporate governance. The Center fosters interactions that are intended to shape and influence corporate governance debates and developments nationally and internationally.

Donor support will be used to support the Center, including helping the Center bridge its connection with the UD student community by expanding its offerings to students through such things as paper competitions, research projects and student internships. This is an opportunity to provide additional ways to introduce students to the field of corporate governance and its relationship to their academics.

Donor Impact: How your support makes a difference!

Your generous support of the Weinberg Center and its activities will allow the Center to increase its outreach to the UD student community, familiarize them with corporate governance and its impact in their future professional life and potentially foster future corporate governance professionals.
