Delaware Softball
Support Delaware Softball student-athletes on and off the field.

About this project:

The University of Delaware Softball Program continues to celebrate its historic 50th season and final year in the CAA, building upon a record-breaking 2024 year. Last season, the Blue Hens set program records for total wins (39) and conference wins (21), while tying records for longest win streak (13) and longest conference win streak (10).

This year, donor funds allowed the team to travel to a key non-conference tournament at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL to start their season in a climate more conducive to early February Softball. At that tournament, the team won its first game against a ranked opponent, taking down Michigan 8-2, which provided a huge boost of confidence for the Blue Hens early in the season.

How your support makes a difference!

Delaware Softball looks to continue its tradition of excellence as it gears up for the postseason. Gifts made to the program ensure Delaware Softball student-athletes have the resources needed to be successful in competition, in the classroom and as they prepare for life after UD, providing funding for travel, equipment, apparel and lodging as well as ensure the creation of an incredible student-athlete experience by enhancing key resources like sports performance, performance nutrition, and academic and career readiness programming, all of which help our players excel on and off the field.

We are incredibly grateful for our Blue Hen Family who continue to cheer on Delaware Softball through every inning, rain or shine, and for supporting us from afar. Thank you for being part of our journey as we fight hard to represent the 302!
