Delaware Football has a long tradition of excellence, and we look forward to continuing that legacy in our transition to the FBS and Conference USA for our First State, First Season! This move elevates the University of Delaware: bringing national exposure to Delaware Athletics, Community & Campus Recreation and the university as a whole through increasing our geographic footprint and increased opportunities for national television broadcasts.

Delaware Athletics is committed to providing our Blue Hens with an exceptional student-athlete experience, including equipment to keep them safe, travel arrangements that allow them to minimize missed class time, funding and resources to recruit and retain talented student-athletes as well as the sports performance, academic and career readiness resources needed to train and recover well while preparing for a successful life after UD.
