About this Project
The mission of Delaware Athletics, Community & Campus Recreation (DACCR) is rooted in student success. As a department, our goals are to graduate inspired, conscientious and lifetime-engaged Blue Hens, to build championship programs and experiences, and to win conference titles and achieve postseason success.
The Blue & Gold Fund was created to help DACCR fulfill our vision of achieving excellence together. Gifts to the Blue & Gold Fund support all of our 600+ student-athletes on our 21 existing varsity programs, our newly forming 22nd varsity program and our nationally acclaimed spirit programs.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift to the Blue & Gold Fund allows us to continually provide an exceptional student-athlete experience: preparing our Blue Hens to be successful in the classroom, in sport and in life after UD. We use this fund to provide tutors, academic advisors and career advisors; sports performance equipment, apparel and devices; and services like nutrition counseling and sports psychology. Funding also supports the necessary logistical items needed to compete regionally and nationally, including travel, lodging, fueling and team uniforms for each of our sport programs.
Please consider making a gift to the Blue & Gold Fund at one of these suggested amounts:
- $2,500: gifts made at this level or higher will receive a locker plaque in any sports locker room
- $1,000: gifts made at this level or higher will receive a locker plaque in select locker rooms
- $302: in honor of our home state of Delaware - one state, one area code
- $94.50: Delaware Student-Athletes Earn 94.5 Percent Graduation Success Rate
