About this Project
Imagine mathematics classrooms where students feel safe to take intellectual risks and to continuously improve their thinking through revising. This project supports teachers who want to learn more about what it takes to design engaging mathematics teaching. Rough drafts and revising is not only for writing! We can draft and revise in math class, too.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift will help pay 12 middle school mathematics teachers an honorarium of $500 each for their work in the summer. Participating teachers will have opportunities to engage in a book study. They will also have opportunities to co-plan with other middle school mathematics teachers. Your generosity will pay teachers for their time that they will spend learning together.
Gifts may also be used as general support for the Rough Draft Math project under Dr. Amanda Jansen's research team.
