UD Lab School
Enrich learning on the UD Lab School's playground and contribute to more intentional play.

About this Project

This project is the focus of the Lab School's 90th anniversary and in memory of the previous Lab School's director, the late Dr. Cynthia Paris. Funds raised will allow for desired renovations of the Lab School's playground, a critical component to our daily activities. These renovations will allow the children at the Lab School to experience more intentional, mindful and open-ended play while making discoveries about themselves and their bodies. Children will learn new ways to create, collaborate, negotiate, build and climb. These changes will also allow our undergraduate students to observe developmental milestones in action through a variety of types of play outdoors.

How your support makes a difference!

Your generous gift will help make renovations to the Lab School’s playground possible! New equipment that supports learning and exploration in a more sustainable design will replace what is no longer usable. Natural materials that encourage creativity, curiosity, healthy risk and self-inquiry will be purchased and installed. We appreciate your support!

Gifts may also be used as general support for the Lab School.
