About this Project
As the oldest LGBTQ+ student organization at the University of Delaware, the Lavender Programming Board is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity. Through a diverse range of events, we encourage open dialogue, education and celebration of LGBTQ+ identities. We offer intimate gatherings such as small group discussions as well as educational speaker series that spotlight LGBTQ+ history, issues and advocacy. Social events like game and movie nights provide fun, relaxed opportunities to bond while our larger campus-wide events, like the annual drag show, serve as a celebration of self-expression and a showcase of talent within our community.
