About this Project
Help the Assistive Medical Technologies Club use engineering and innovation to better the local community. Combining a passion for disability support with hands-on adaptation, we create alternatives to expensive, standardized medical equipment on the market. We believe that by enabling individuals to be independently mobile, they are able to continue to do the things they love, interact more with peers and avoid the constriction that limited range of motion often puts on socialization.
Our club stresses the individualization of our designs, knowing that this level of personalization would be incredibly expensive for the family to obtain elsewhere; and we never turn a family away because of cost if we are able to finance the project.
