About this Project
The Center for Global and Area Studies (CGAS) Student-Scholarship Connections Grant funds faculty-led projects in teaching and research that involve or benefit undergraduate students in the Center for Global and Area Studies. Funded projects include hands-on learning, new class modules, undergraduate research showcases/conferences and cultural events. The aim is to provide funding for faculty enrichment which will also have a direct impact on students in CGAS programs and classes.
How your support makes a difference!
Your support will help faculty create new research modules for student learning in classes, fund field trips to enrich student learning beyond the classroom and provide materials for hands-on projects in class. Donations will support students attending conferences in Global and Area Studies and provide paid research assistantships for students working on faculty-led projects. Gifts may also be used as general support for the Center for Global and Area Studies.
