The Clothing Coop
In partnership with the UD Pride Caucus, help Blue Hen students access gender affirming attire.

About this project:

The Clothing Coop, offered through Student Diversity & Inclusion, provides access to free professional attire and gender-affirming clothing, items and accessories for all UD students. Each student, regardless of gender identity, gender expression and financial situation, should feel proud and confident in all aspects of their day-to-day and professional lives.

The Clothing Coop has seen an immediate need to supply more gender affirming options. Our goal is to service at least 100 individuals by providing items like binders, tuck tape, tuck kits and packers.

We believe that the right clothing isn’t just about fabric—it’s about dignity, self-expression, and the confidence to be unapologetically you. The foundation of who you are lies under the outfit. By offering gender affirming items like binders, tuck tape, tuck kits and packers, we embolden our Blue Hens to be recognized as the truest version of themselves.

Join us in making a difference, because when our students feel seen, supported and affirmed, the possibilities are unlimited.

This project is being promoted on I Heart UD Giving Day in partnership with the UD Pride Caucus.

How your support makes a difference!

Your gift today will not only help us in maintaining our current services for students, but will also directly help us in expanding our support of students primarily with affirmative options.

Gifts to The Clothing Coop can be used in the following way:

  • $10 could purchase a two count tuck kit.
  • $25 could purchase a trans tape starter kit complete with skincare products.
  • $45 could purchase a compression top binder.

Our goal is ensure that no UD student experiences clothing insecurities and has access to the right resources to succeed at UD and beyond.
