Climate Change Science and Policy Hub
Sponsor inspiration and collaboration for emerging climate change leaders.

About this project:

Climate change solutions demand innovation and collaboration. Students in the undergraduate Climate Scholars and graduate Climate Fellows programs meet weekly to collaborate, build networks and gain insights from climate researchers, community leaders, and policymakers. These climate-focused student leaders also work with community organizations on resilience plans, recommend sustainability policies, conduct world-class research and speak with high schools and learning centers to teach others about climate change. Join us in supporting our developing climate leaders and foster the experiential learning that UD is renowned for!

How your support makes a difference!

Your gift will support over 150 emerging climate change leaders as they prepare to take on one of our world’s most pressing challenges. Here are some examples of what your support can do:

  • $10 supports a weekly seminar and networking event, fostering University-wide collaborations that help students see climate change as a whole-of-society problem with whole-of-society solutions.
  • $25 covers the registration or poster printing fee for students to present their climate solutions and research at a regional conference.
  • $500 helps fund a collaboration with an innovative community leader or could pay for a field trip that brings students to a community site to learn about climate actions in practice.

Gifts to this project will be directed to the Gerard J. Mangone Center for Climate Change Science and Policy Hub.
