About this project:
Our future generation is at a critical junction, where they will inherit a rapidly changing world, both physically and technologically. They need career paths and skill sets appropriate for learning and adapting in this changing environment. An undergraduate research experience can prepare them well for a successful career in the environmental science sector. However, research shows that students are less likely to opt for a non-paying research opportunity.
We plan to create undergraduate experiential research opportunities for our Environmental Science majors throughout the year on a rolling basis. This paid opportunity will enable our students to work directly with a faculty mentor on their exciting research projects.
