Student Advocacy and Support is committed to supporting all of our military connected students here at UD and is excited to engage the community in this work as well.
By making a gift, you can help:
- Host our student’s attendance at the yearly Student Veterans of America (SVA) Conference. Our Chapter of SVA, Blue Hen Veterans, would like to expand access to this event for our students. As the participant cost is approximately $750, your contribution goes a long way to increasing student opportunities.
- Support our speaker series, Hoagies to Heroes. In collaboration with the Biden Institute, our monthly series promotes awareness of Veteran and military affiliated student causes and issues. This critical programming connects students on campus with resources and support.

How your support makes a difference!
Your gift will provide funding for members of Blue Hen Veterans to attend the annual Student Veterans of America Conference. Those receiving this financial support may not have otherwise been able to afford the opportunity to attend the conference. Your gift will also support UD's Hoagies to Heroes speaker series that is run in collaboration with the Biden Institute. This monthly speaker series is focused on promoting awareness of Veteran and Military affiliated student causes and issues with the broader campus community and helps to connect students here on campus with resources and support as needed.
