About this project:
PRoUD is a organization that partners with The Seeing Eye to aid in their mission to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of blind people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.
Our club members expose the young dogs to as many situations as possible to prepare them for their future job as guide dogs. To help with this, our puppies come with us to many of the places we go including class, club meetings and events. Our club also has special approved housing areas where our puppies live with us. It is a very time-consuming commitment, as our raisers are responsible for the puppy’s complete care, basic obedience and manners.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift will be used to support our puppies on their journey to becoming guide dogs and expose them to new environments. PRoUD puppies become guide dogs that help people who are blind achieve greater independence, confidence, safety and dignity. Seeing Eye dog partnerships make all this and more possible, but we can’t raise and train our dogs without your support.
