I Heart UD Giving Day 2025 has ended, but you can still support the UD causes you love!
Delaware Women's Cross Country
Support Delaware Women's Cross Country student-athletes on and off the course.

About this Project

Delaware Cross Country continues to excel both on the course and in the classroom, earning recognition as a 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

This year, donor support allowed the team funding for air travel for a key cross country meet at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, which provided an excellent opportunity for our student-athletes to compete against top programs from all around the country.

How your support makes a difference!

Donor support is essential to Delaware Cross Country's success on the course, in the classroom and in the community. Your gift to the program supports key resources such as travel, equipment, apparel and lodging as well as ensures the creation of an incredible student-athlete experience by enhancing key resources like sports performance, performance nutrition, and academic and career readiness programming, all of which help our players excel on and off the course. We are incredibly grateful for the strong base of support from our Blue Hen Family. Thank you for being a part of our journey. Go Hens!

Please consider making a gift to Delaware Women's Cross Country at one of these suggested amounts:

  • $1,000: gifts made at this level or higher will receive a locker plaque in the women's cross country locker room recognizing the donor's name
  • $346: in honor of the team's fall GPA of 3.46, which landed them in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All Academic Team
  • $30: in honor of an impressive 30 point season opener win at the Lehigh Invitational, where Delaware had five runners in the top 10!
