Are gifts to the University of Delaware tax-deductible?
Yes! All gifts made through the University of Delaware's HenFunder platform will go directly to the University and are tax-deductible. The University of Delaware is a 501c3 and our non-profit tax ID # is 51-6000297.
Is my information secure?
Yes! The crowdfunding platform, ScaleFunder, which has partnered with the University of Delaware, will not share any of your information with anyone other than UD. All gifts are collected through secure transactions through the University's authorized PCI-compliant payment processors.
Can my gift be matched by my employer?
Visit udel.edu/giving/matching to check if you/your spouse are eligible for an employer-matching gift.
What if the program I want to support isn't featured on the platform?
If you want to support a different UD program or cause not featured on this I Heart UD Giving Day site, please make your gift here.
How does my gift become eligible to unlock a giving challenge or match?
Only gifts made to projects featured on this platform unlock challenges and matches. Gifts made via any other channel (online giving form, phone, check, IRA, DAF, stock, etc.) will count towards overall fundraising totals but are not eligible to unlock challenges or matches.

How do I use digital wallet payment options?
You can use PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay, in addition to credit cards. Digital wallet options depend on your device setup.
Am I required to enter my legal cardholder information, including legal billing name, on this form?
Yes.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes, there is a minimum gift amount of $10 at checkout. You can support one single designation or multiple designations to equal $10.
