About This Project
UD's National Honor Society for Dance Arts nationally recognized through the National Dance Education Organization and directly affiliated with the Theatre and Dance program at UD. We provide opportunities to perform, mentor, teach, volunteer and organize events that serve our community. Upon graduation, we present each member with a medal and cord as part of their graduation regalia, and we honor our inducted juniors with certificates.
We are so fortunate this year to have so many members to celebrate and recognize for their achievements in dance. The funds we are seeking will be applied toward medals, cords and certificates for our inductees and graduating class. Our goal is to raise $850 to support and recognize our inductees and graduates this spring semester.
As leaders in our dance community and beyond our studio, we strive to encourage the arts and develop interdisciplinary connections across all majors and colleges. We host open classes that are free to anyone in the UD community. Our events and classes provide a space for individuals to express themselves and enjoy dance, even for those with no prior experience in the dance arts. Our membership has grown because of the community and opportunities we provide. These medals and cords are worn with pride to showcase our leadership, dedication and achievements in dance.
