How your support makes a difference!

Your gift enables the Delaware Center for Neurologic Rehabilitation & Recovery Research to achieve the following:

  • Maintain and grow existing participant research registries for Parkinson's Disease and stroke and develop new registries as needed.
  • Support the physical infrastructure for and standardization of neurologic assessments of research participants.
  • Support planning and execution of mobility-related clinical trials in neurologic populations.
  • Create repositories for longitudinal studies in stroke and Parkinson's Disease.
  • Hire, train and supervise clinical and research staff; e.g., registry coordinators and research physical therapists.
  • Engage communities of individuals with neurologic conditions, their caregivers and clinicians. Seminars and workshops will provide opportunities for education, dissemination, advocacy and collaboration among participants, clinicians and investigators.
