About This Project
The University of Delaware Amateur Radio Club brings ham radio to life for students through hands-on training, real-world operating and a community built around curiosity and service. Ham radio is more than a hobby. It is a practical skill that blends communication, electronics, computing and problem-solving, and it gives students a way to connect with people around the world using their own equipment and knowledge.
Your support helps us keep our station active and expand what we can offer. Funds will go toward maintaining and upgrading our radios, antennas and supporting equipment, plus improving our portable setup for field operation. These resources let us train new operators, host license study and testing support, and give members more opportunities to practice on the air with confidence.
How your support makes a difference!
Donations also strengthen our ability to support campus events and public service communications. Ham radio plays a vital role when other systems are overloaded or unavailable, and our club builds the skills needed to communicate clearly and reliably in a wide range of conditions. With updated equipment and the right supplies, we can operate more often, teach more students and represent UD with pride on the air.
By giving, you are investing in student learning, technical growth and community readiness. Every contribution helps us welcome new members, develop capable operators and keep the UD Amateur Radio Club on the air for years to come.
