About This Project
K-Pop Dance Club's fall semester showcase is known as "Hallyu Day," the name coming from the global phenomenon known as Hallyu, or the Korean Wave. To contribute in spreading Korean pop culture around the world, we want to do the same for UD. We invite various performance groups from UD as well as K-pop Dance groups from other schools to perform at this event. It is a late night event where the audience and performers can come together for a night of compelling performances and entertaining interactive activities.
Similarly, our spring semester performance event is our very own end-of-the-year showcase. Our performance body works hard to dedicate themselves to a semester of dancing, and we aim to express our commitment to showcasing quality performances. Parents, friends, family and the UD community are all invited and encouraged to watch our team showcase our story, from beginning to the end of the semester. With our care and teamwork, we have successfully put on a multitude of performances throughout the semester, and our end-of-the-year showcase aims to express our efforts in one night of joy and entertainment. We are very proud of our club members and would love the ability to create the space to put these feelings into a tangible and successful event and show our club member's efforts.

Your gift will bring K-Pop Dance Club closer to our goal of achieving larger-scale events that reflect the mission of our club. We will be able to invite a multitude of K-pop Dance Groups from other universities to our Fall Showcase and compensate them kindly. Similar to the showcase being a way to express our efforts, we want groups traveling to us to know that their commitment is greatly appreciated and that we recognize their dedication.
Any funding will also further production of our Hallyu Day event and Spring Showcase, as we will have the opportunity to display captivating performances matched with creative lighting and audio effects. We will be able to enhance the performance themselves with meaningful costumes and props that all have their unique stories and journeys throughout the dances. Your support will be used for crafting and executing a successful and memorable event.
