Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association
Help APSA foster community, celebrate culture and build belonging at UD through events.

About This Project

The Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association (APSA) at the University of Delaware is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for students of all backgrounds. Our mission is to celebrate, teach about and uplift Asian and Pacific Islander cultures.

This project will help us host both small-scale community-building events, such as a Lunar New Year celebration and a Thai Lantern Festival celebration, and large cultural programs, including our APIDA Keynote Speaker event to commemorate the beginning of APIDA Heritage month in May. These funds will go toward event programming, cultural celebrations, guest speakers, food, materials and collaborative campus initiatives that make our events accessible and impactful.

How your support makes a difference!

When you give to the Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association (APSA), you directly foster students’ sense of belonging. APSA is a space where students feel seen, heard and celebrated for who they are. Your gift makes it possible for us to host cultural nights, important discussions and community gatherings that honor the diversity of Asian and Pacific Islander identities. Additionally, your support helps us provide culturally-meaningful food, invite inspiring speakers and create spaces where students can share their stories with pride. Your gift welcomes those seeking connection and continues traditions that unite hundreds in celebration. Thank you for your support!
