About This Project
Environmental challenges around the world seem too big for a single individual to make a difference. That is not true, and the University of Delaware is taking direct environmental action. Show your love for the place that inspires the next generation of changemakers with a donation to UD’s sustainability efforts. By supporting the Office of Sustainability and the President’s Committee on Sustainability, you help turn bold climate goals into real-world action.
We have used past donations for supporting environmental literacy, reused regalia for less-fortunate graduating seniors, starting the My Green Labs program, staff development, student-led research, pilot programs, landscape biodiversity and many more efforts not possible without donor support.

Your gift to the Office of Sustainability directly powers the projects that move our campus climate goals from idea to action. Here’s how your support helps us achieve our fundraising goals:
- $25-$50 provides materials for outreach and engagement
- $25-$100 drives biological diversification with native plants and supports re-use programs such as graduation regalia for less-privileged graduating seniors.
- $250-$500 funds high impact projects like green lab certifications, staff and student education and student-led projects with immediate impacts to the campus.
- $1,000+ kicks into overdrive the ability to achieve 3rd party sustainability certifications, data tracking that drives measurable carbon reductions and environmental-friendly upgrades to campus assets.
