About This Project
In our 75th anniversary year, the Department of Applied Economics & Statistics (APEC) is doubling down on our commitment to student experiences! The APEC Experiential Learning Fund expands access to hands-on learning opportunities that prepare students for fulfilling careers in agribusiness, economics, statistics and sports performance analytics. Our students apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in programs such as the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) and DataFest competitions, research internships with the Center for Experimental & Applied Economics and Sports Science & Analytics (UD Athletics), engagement in the Mentoring Network and Applied Economics Student Association and study abroad opportunities focused on sustainable development. Students design and market new products, analyze complex datasets, conduct research with faculty mentors, connect with industry and policy leaders and gain global perspectives.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift creates a bridge between academic excellence and real-world application, allowing APEC students to gain the skills and experiences needed to thrive after graduation and become leaders in their fields. Join us in celebrating APEC’s 75th Anniversary by being one of 75 donors expanding opportunities for our students!
