About This Project
For over 120 years, the Fraternity and Sorority community has been a place to call home for University of Delaware students. With 60 Fraternities and Sororities at UD today represented by the four governing councils -- Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Congress, Panhellenic Council, and Special Interest Greek Council -- the community spans across the student body representing over 5,000 students. This community is making a difference not only in the 30% of the undergraduate student body members but also in the local and national communities through their service and philanthropy. Over 37,782 hours of active community service was reported last year by the fraternity and sorority members and their philanthropy raised over $361,827 dollars for philanthropic causes outside of the university.
We are asking for your support to help represent this community through visual displays, by creating a space on campus for community learning and fellowship and by showing throughout campus that fraternities and sororities have a long history and bright future here at UD.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift to Fraternity and Sorority Leadership & Learning will support projects that increase our presence across campus, improve our spaces that we use and help our members display their pride for their fraternity and sorority.
Your support will help us display our pride through the following upgrades:
- Plaque display wall in the FSLL wing of Perkins Student Center
- Photo installation in the Blue and Gold Workshop Room on the FSLL wing of Perkins Student Center
- Updated reception area in the FSLL Suite in Perkins Student Center
- Advertising expenses for membership recruitment and programming events
You are helping us build our vision for the future. Thank you for your support!
