About This Project
Give children who stutter the confidence to share their voices! The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at UD aims to expand Camp Dream.Speak.Live.Delaware — a transformative, research-based program for children and adolescents who stutter. Over the past three years, our summer camp has successfully improved these children's communicative skills and self-esteem, all at no cost to their families from Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic states. In 2026, we hope to increase our impact even further.

Camp Dream.Speak.Live is an intensive therapy program for children who stutter at no cost to their families. Your gift directly funds activities that build communicative competence, such as improv, open mic sessions, talent shows and much more — designed to foster the courage to speak freely.
