About This Project

In 2021, the Jerome Lewis Director's Fund was established to further the Institute for Public Administration's mission of developing the next generation of public service leaders.

The Fund provides resources for experiential learning opportunities, research support and other funding priorities, at the discretion of the IPA director. Currently, the main priority for the Fund is scholarship support to enable graduate students to study public administration, conduct research on public policies and programs, and collaborate with state and local government leaders.

How your support makes a difference!

Your gift to the Jerome Lewis Director's Fund directly supports students dedicated to public service and honors Dr. Lewis's fierce commitment to student success. Thanks to generous donors like you, the Jerome Lewis Director's Fund will provide its first student scholarship this year. With continued support, we plan to offer more and larger scholarships in the future. Your contribution connects students with hands-on research opportunities that prepare them for success post-graduation, investing in visionary leaders who will serve communities across Delaware, the nation and the world.

The Jerome Lewis Director's Fund in the Institute for Public Administration is an endowed fund designed to last in perpetuity. All contributions made to this fund are restricted for use according to the agreement of the endowment.
