About This Project
Each UD Blue Hen, regardless of their financial situation, gender identity or current needs, should have access to food, supplies and clothing. The All Together Fund aims to provide students with access to free food, supplies, gender affirming clothes and professional attire to ensure their success and support at the University of Delaware and beyond.
According to data from the 2018 Hope Center Survey and 2025 American College Health Association Well-Being Assessment (ACHA), approximately 1 in 4 Blue Hens are experiencing basic needs insecurity (food, housing and/or financial insecurity). Your gift today will not only help us in maintaining our current services for students but will also directly help us in expanding our support of students.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift will greatly impact two key initiatives for our Blue Hens: The Clothing Coop and the Food & Supply Pantry.
The Clothing Coop provides students with access to free gender affirming & professional attire. Since moving to the Center for Intercultural Engagement in the Fall of 2023, there have been over 300 individual shoppers and 450 visits!
- $5 purchases a new belt or a pack of socks
- $10 purchases a new shirt or tie
- $25 purchases a new pair of jeans or skirt
- $50 purchases a new blazer
- $200 could provide a student with a new business suit set.
The Food & Supply Pantry, launched in the Fall of 2023, has provided over 525 Blue Hens with free food and supplies and fulfilled over 2,500 orders!
- $10 purchases boxes of pasta for 8 students
- $30 completes one full grocery bag for a student
- $50 provides a week's worth of menstrual products for fifteen students
- $100 could offer three healthy protein options to support 40 food insecure students at UD.
