About This Project
The Private Markets Club helps the University of Delaware provide real-world experiences and develop tangible skills in private markets through competition, direct industry exposure as well as hands-on learning opportunities with professionals. PMC focuses broadly on the various areas within private investments such as private equity, venture capital and private credit. Our members learn valuation techniques and financial modeling alongside soft skills like team communication and pitching.
A recent example of how funds have been used this semester, and how we intend to use them going forward, was our February hosting of a live, instructor-led Wall Street Prep Technical Interview Prep Bootcamp for club members. In addition, over the past several years the club has used funds to organize trips to Hamilton Lane, a leading private markets allocator. Both initiatives directly support the club’s mission of preparing UD students to be workforce-ready upon graduation. Continued donor support will enable us to expand and sustain these impactful opportunities.
