About This Project
Move over Moana, the ocean is calling us, too! This fundraising project will send marine science students to sea for hands-on, engaging experiences. Whether sampling for water quality, collecting marine creatures or tagging fish, our students are getting their hands AND feet wet with experiential learning that no classroom can offer. Join us in wishing them calm winds and a following sea in all their adventures.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift will help us pay for ship time (captain and fuel) on the R/V Daiber, a research vessel that has a 200 km range from the near shore to the Atlantic Ocean. With your funds, students have the opportunity to design and carry out research to further our understanding of Delaware’s marine resources. Help us educate the next generation of marine scientists.
Gifts may also be used as general support for the School of Marine Science and Policy.
