About This Project
The electrical engineering world is a daunting place to build a career. The University of Delaware's chapter of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) aims to prepare students, through professional development, mentoring and networking opportunities. Professional development with IEEE includes, but is not limited to, resume reviews, guest speakers from both industry and academia and hands-on workshops developed to improve technical skills. More broadly, IEEE gives students pursuing careers related to electrical and electronics engineering a space to build connections with like-minded individuals with similar interests. These connections give students a space to gain insight on how to best pursue/find research opportunities, build a resume using the resources available to UD students and apply for and secure internships in an increasingly competitive market.
