About This Project
The University of Delaware spirit program made an impressive Division I-A debut at the 2026 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship, earning a trio of top-six finishes in its first season at the DIA level. The University's move to Conference USA and the FBS level football propelled the spirit program to the highest level of competition, and they've shone on the bigger stage. Delaware's cheerleading team continues to make the Blue Hen family proUD. This year, the team's Small Coed Gameday and All Girl each took fifth place nationally. Cheer's partner stunt group of Tamara Harmon, Jordan Herbert, Rylee Rhinehart, and Demi Schlotter placed third, marking the second-consecutive year a UD partner stunt team placed third in the category.
