About this project:
We are the Bangladesh Student Association (BSA) at the University of Delaware, a community of graduate students who share a deep love for our culture and a strong desire to connect it with the wider UD family. As a Graduate Student Organization, our mission is to celebrate who we are, remember where we came from and share the beauty of Bangladesh with everyone around us.
This year, we are raising funds to bring three meaningful cultural events to life. Each of these moments tells a story about our identity, our history and the values we hold close language, freedom and togetherness.
- International Mother Language Day – February 21
 - Victory Day – December 16
 - Pohela Falgun – February 14

For many of us, studying far from home can sometimes feel lonely but these celebrations remind us that we are never truly alone. They help us keep our roots alive while inviting others to be part of our journey. By supporting our project, you are helping us buy art supplies, decorations and food; but more importantly, you are helping us keep a piece of Bangladesh alive here at the University of Delaware. Together, we can create moments of joy, learning and connection that our whole campus can share.
How your support makes a difference!
Your gift means more than just funding an event, it helps us keep our culture, stories, and sense of belonging alive thousands of miles from home. Every dollar you give helps create moments that remind us of who we are, while sharing that joy and heritage with the wider University of Delaware community.
Your support will empower expression, honor freedom, spread joy and culture and build community.
Every contribution, big or small, helps us tell our story of courage, language and joy that continues to inspire new generations. Your support reminds us that even far from home, our culture continues to live, grow and bring people together.
Gifts may also be used as general support for BSA.
