About this project:
The Department of Communication and UD Journalism is launching an exceptional experience for students with the Statehouse News Fellowship. Fellows will report from the state capital, covering the General Assembly and working with local media outlets. UD is one of 35 colleges and universities in the nation offering this unique and essential experience, and your support will help cover the costs for students, including transportation expenses.
How your support makes a difference!
UD Journalism can accomplish two critical goals with your gift:
- Provide young journalists with professional-level experience.
- Help fill the growing gap in local news coverage as Delaware edges closer to becoming a news desert.
Funds raised will be distributed directly to the fellows to help cover the costs of travel and other expenses.
Gifts will be designated to the Journalism program. Journalism will direct funds to support this project.
