Every Blue Hen — regardless of major or academic interest — benefits from Morris Library’s collections, resources and staff expertise with Special Collections standing as one of the University of Delaware’s most unique assets.   

Morris Library is embarking on a transformative renovation of the Special Collections space to better serve students, researchers and the broader community. 

Key improvements include:  

• A welcoming reading room for researchers to access the department’s world-class collections.  
• An updated and well-furnished reading room and collection space for the Mark Samuels Lasner Collection.  
• Collaborative research rooms to support group work using the collections.  
• Dynamic exhibition space open to all Library visitors.  
• A reception area that increases visibility and accessibility.
