Minorities in Natural Resources & Related Sciences
Encourage students in the UD Chapter of MANRRS to attend the national MANRRS conference.

About this project:

Minorities in Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) is a vibrant national organization whose mission is to promote academic and professional advancement by empowering students in agriculture, natural resources and related sciences. The University of Delaware official MANRRS chapter plans to send five executive board members to the national MANRRS conference that will take place from April 8-12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. There, UD will join attendees from more than 65 colleges and universities and over 100 representatives from government, industry and nonprofit organizations. Students will participate in training sessions to refine knowledge and skills related to professional development, will hear from inspiring speakers and will attend a large job and internship fair. Students describe this experience using terms such as life-changing, empowering, uplifting and inspiring. This conference allows students to network with and learn from successful professionals in fields they aspire to work in. Students can come back from the conference confident in their path and enlightened on how to build their future.
