American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
Connect students, faculty and industry leaders to develop a strong chemical engineering community.

About this project:

The University of Delaware chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a professional and social club that fosters a strong community of passionate chemical engineering students who will change the world.

Through professional development events, hands-on learning opportunities, and social engagement, AIChE helps students explore their interests, connect with industry professionals and prepare for impactful careers in engineering. The experiences we provide our students equip them with confidence and passion for the field and help them to succeed as they pursue industry internships and research experiences. We aim to help our students grow as leaders, problem-solvers and critical thinkers beyond the classroom.

How your support makes a difference!

Your gift helps provide chemical engineering students at UD with valuable opportunities for both professional development and social connection. Every month, our Faculty Breakfast events foster closer relationships between students and professors outside the classroom, creating a more connected academic community. AIChE has a K–12 outreach program, inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers through engaging demonstrations and hands-on science activities. Your support empowers our students to grow as future engineers, leaders and innovators who will shape the world through chemical engineering.
