About this project:
Did you know that the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures sends more students abroad to more parts of the world than any other UD department? And that’s the way it’s been for over 100 years since we launched the nation’s very first study abroad program.
Study abroad is the most impactful experience a UD student can have. It fosters critical thinking and problem solving and trains students to be great communicators and leaders who take an active role in improving the world.
But, costs are the single greatest barrier for students seeking to study abroad. With your help, we can change that. Your support can make these transformative opportunities accessible to more students, empowering them to go global and make a difference. You can also help support more faculty travelling with the students to offer expanded courses in language, literature and culture in the host country!

How your support makes a difference!
Our aim is to provide funding for all aspects of study abroad, including financial support for students travelling abroad and for faculty instruction at our overseas partner institutions. Your gift will not only allow more students to travel abroad, but will also allow us to offer more courses for our students overseas, enriching their learning experience.
