About this project:
The University of Delaware Botanic Gardens' (UDBG) horticultural operations currently rely on traditional gas-powered equipment such as blowers, trimmers and mowers. Unfortunately, these tools contribute to localized air and noise pollution and high noise levels that can disrupt the visitor experience and wildlife activity.
Transitioning to an electric outfit represents an important step towards cleaner stewardship practices while advancing student educational value.
