About this project:
The RISE (Resources to Inspire Successful Engineers) Summer Academy empowers incoming College of Engineering students to start their academic journey with confidence and purpose. Through a five-week, residential summer experience, students strengthen their math skills, explore hands-on learning and build a supportive community before the fall semester begins. The RISE Summer Academy fosters personal and academic growth, helping students discover their potential while connecting with mentors, faculty members and peers who believe in their success.
The RISE Summer Academy transforms potential into purpose. Students immerse themselves in campus life, cutting-edge research and professional exploration, gaining confidence about their future in engineering. With experiential learning opportunities like research and industry shadowing, RISE Summer Academy participants experience how classroom learning connects to real-world innovation. Throughout the five-weeks, students build a lasting community of support and discover invaluable resources to aid in their academic success.
