About this project:
We are so close to achieving our goal of providing $5,000 in awards annually! Please help us reach our goal of making the WUDPAC Founders and Directors Award sustainable.
Started in 2023, the WUDPAC Founders and Directors Award Endowment encourages graduate students in the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC) to complete ongoing research projects by supporting testing, further study and presentation or publication of their results. To date, three exciting projects have received $2,500 awards. Research topics include community conservation outreach, study of contamination of manuscripts caused by attached lead seals and improved sharing of research data on the failure of tarnish-reducing coatings on silver artifacts. We want to enrich the art conservation and collecting communities by promoting the students' outstanding research results.
How your support makes a difference!
Your generous gift to the WUDPAC Founders and Directors Award Endowment will help to provide $5,000 in research awards this year! Help us make the awards sustainable at this level. The beneficiaries' innovative and interdisciplinary projects improve the care, preservation and understanding of our cultural heritage. Please help us by generously donating to the WUDPAC Founders and Directors Award Endowment. Thank you for your support!
