About this project:
This spring break, UD Alternative Breaks (UDAB) will send six teams of students across Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. to partner with community organizations tackling some of today’s most pressing social issues, from food and housing insecurity to girls’ empowerment and environmental sustainability. Through hands-on service and meaningful reflection, students will build leadership skills, strengthen community partnerships, and discover how collective action can create lasting change.
How your support makes a difference!
Your support makes it possible for more students to participate in UDAB’s spring service programs by removing financial barriers and expanding access to hands-on learning experiences that foster civic leadership and social responsibility. Every gift directly supports travel, housing, and program costs, empowering students to serve alongside community partners addressing critical issues. With your help, UD students can turn compassion into action and make a lasting impact in mulitple communities.
Gifts may also be used as general support for UD Alternative Breaks.
