About this project:
The 2026 Winter UD Alternative Breaks (UDAB) service program will be returning to Puerto Rico! 25 UD students will have the opportunity to serve multiple communities in the northeast of Puerto Rico, volunteering 8 days of their winter break to work on disaster relief and environmental justice projects with local partner organizations. This is a unique and impactful program where students can work as a team while learning about the history of Puerto Rico and the importance of community engagement.
How your support makes a difference!
Your generous donation will help decrease the overall cost of our 2026 winter alternative break program to Puerto Rico. The estimated cost is about $1,600 per person and covers all housing, meals and transportation.
Gifts may also be used as general support for UD Alternative Breaks.
