About this project:
The 2026 Winter UD Alternative Breaks (UDAB) service program will be returning to Puerto Rico! Twenty-five UD students will have the opportunity to serve multiple communities in the northeast of Puerto Rico, volunteering 8 days of their winter break to work on disaster relief and environmental justice projects with local partner organizations. This is a unique and impactful program where students can work as a team while learning about the history of Puerto Rico and the importance of community engagement.
How your support makes a difference!
Your generous donation will help decrease the overall cost of our 2026 winter alternative break program to Puerto Rico. The estimated cost is about $1,600 per person and covers all housing, meals and transportation.
Gifts may also be used as general support for UD Alternative Breaks.
