About this project:
The University of Delaware Spirit Program (consisting of Cheer, Dance and Mascot Teams) is excited for the opportunity to compete at the UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship hosted by ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. Cheer, Dance and Mascot teams will be competing January 16 through January 18, 2026. They will be competing in the D1A division for the first time and look forward to rising to the occasion.
This annual trip allows our spirit student-athletes to compete and excel on the highest stage of competition. It would not be possible without the continued support of our alumni, family and friends. Costs associated with this trip include registration, bus transportation, meals, flights and lodging for the All Girl Cheer, Coed Cheer, Dance and Mascot teams that make up the Spirit Program. Our fundraising goal is to raise $15,000.

Your gift to the UD Spirit Program’s trip to nationals ensures we can take the full team to this event. The combined program is looking forward to its D1A debut this year. The spirit program has brought home at least one national championship title for 19 consecutive years and is excited to now compete at the highest level in this new division - we can’t do it without donor support!
