About this project:
Currently, Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC) owns 14 microphone packs that actors use during our shows to ensure they are heard throughout the theater. However, this number does not always accommodate the number of cast members we have in a show, let alone the number of speaking roles. This results in cast members having to go through the difficult process of passing around a microphone during the show, or, unfortunately, some cast members not having one for the performance. With the funds we raise, HTAC will be able to purchase more of these microphones, allowing every cast member to receive one and encouraging HTAC to put on larger-scale productions with more cast members. The microphone packs we use can cost up to $1,200, so with our goal of $3,600, we would be able to buy 3 more to add to our supply.

Your gift will help us continue to put on quality theater here at the University of Delaware. It will allow us to put on larger-scale productions and ensure that every cast member gets the opportunity to be heard throughout the theater.
